Lies

The truth hurts. I have learned that pretending to be completely oblivious to lies is not the solution. Infidelity happens to be my number one pet peeve of relationships. How could someone live with themselves after hurting someone they claim to have feelings for? That, my friend, is not love. Cheating is never acceptable, and every time someone reinforces ones actions with forgiveness the lesson learned is lost. How will someone ever learn to do the right thing when they know they will be allowed to come crawling back in the end? They wont. By taking them back, you are allowing them to walk all over you. You are accepting the fact that they were once unfaithful, with the slightest hope that it will never happen again. I have learned my lesson one to many times, and I will no longer fall for the lies. Game over, have a nice life.

August 27th, 2009

School started yesterday. My schedule has been so busy lately, and I think it is going to stay like that way for the next few years. ROTC is a lot better than I expected. Not much more to say. Gotta go to class!

fun fun fun

Yesterday was my first fun night of college. I made friends with a whole group of people! It's fun to hear everyone's story and where they come from. We all went to the beach then came back to the dorm and watched a movie.

Ah, i love college. At least the not learning part. The school part starts on Aug. 26th!

First night!

After a long tour through multiple parts of Texas, I am finally on my own. Over the past couple of weeks I have been all over Texas. We flew into Houston to see Grandma Trudy and other aunts and uncles. From there we went on to Dallas to visit with my cousin and her new born baby girl. We moved onto Seminole the next day to see all the family there.

Now, i'm finally settled in my dorm. My first night of freedom and it's a little scary.

I'll be posting pictures from the trip soon.

6:55 AM: Texas Bound

I leave tomorrow morning for Houston, TX to start off my family tour around Texas. I had some friends over last night and I got to say my goodbyes. It was good to see everyone. I said goodbye to my best friend and my her family today. I was balling my eyes out, might I add. I also had to say bye to Micah and his family as well. However, he comes to see me in Texas on August 13th so I was a little better for those goodbyes. I'll write when I get the chance. Corpus Christi, here I come!

One Week!

I came home from my last trip to Ocean City, Maryland on Thursday. I've been busy and have been meaning to update. Anyways, I went with my the Bajkowski's (aka my second family). I'm going to miss them when I'm in Texas, but I'm sure I will come back and visit :) Here are some pictures for the week!

The view from the condo we stayed. This was right before the bad storm.

Another random pretty flower picture!

Believe it or not, this is a sand castle!

We had a really bad storm the second day we were there. Lots of rain, hail, and flooding. Our road was flooded up to my knees. People had some inventive ways of entertaining themselves.

There was hail the size of pennies!

Poor mazda was completely flooded :(

Poor owner of the mazda, too!

Kids canoeing in the street

After the storm there was a gorgeous sunset!

Wake boarding in the middle of the street!

Besides that, the only interesting news is that I'm moving in a week! Crazy. That's about all I have for now.

Two Weeks

Two weeks till I leave for Texas. I'm ready to leave and start something new. I think it's the Army brat in me. I feel like this move is overdue.
