One Week!

I came home from my last trip to Ocean City, Maryland on Thursday. I've been busy and have been meaning to update. Anyways, I went with my the Bajkowski's (aka my second family). I'm going to miss them when I'm in Texas, but I'm sure I will come back and visit :) Here are some pictures for the week!

The view from the condo we stayed. This was right before the bad storm.

Another random pretty flower picture!

Believe it or not, this is a sand castle!

We had a really bad storm the second day we were there. Lots of rain, hail, and flooding. Our road was flooded up to my knees. People had some inventive ways of entertaining themselves.

There was hail the size of pennies!

Poor mazda was completely flooded :(

Poor owner of the mazda, too!

Kids canoeing in the street

After the storm there was a gorgeous sunset!

Wake boarding in the middle of the street!

Besides that, the only interesting news is that I'm moving in a week! Crazy. That's about all I have for now.

Two Weeks

Two weeks till I leave for Texas. I'm ready to leave and start something new. I think it's the Army brat in me. I feel like this move is overdue.

Day with the Dogs

Micah and I brought my two dogs, Lula and Bailey, to Cromwell Valley Park. Although we couldn't let the run wild, we were able to take them on a few trails. To our surprise Lula jumped in the water like it was no big deal. If you know Lula, you know this is a big deal. She usually hates water. However, she was running through the stream and all over the banks having a good time. I forgot my camera or else I'm sure I would have a massive amount of random pictures. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend this park. It is pretty, not too crowded, and you can bring your little furry friend, too!

On our way home we drove through Loch Raven Reservoir. It was just at sunset, and the reflections from the trees and sun on the water was absolutely gorgeous. I plan on going back before I head off to college just so I can get a clear picture with a decent camera. This poor quality, camera phone picture will have to do for now.

I hope all is well with everyone! I'm heading off to bed now, Goodnight!

B.E.N

It's been seven months. I've missed my riding buddy this summer, it's just not the same without you. Thank you for everything you have taught me. Watch over me from heaven like you did when you were still with us. We all love and miss you.

Surprise!

Micah decided to surprise me on Saturday and take me horseback riding. It was so beautiful. We rode with a group through a state park for an hour. My horse, Twila, was a good horse with a light lead. I was one of the fortunate ones in my group. One poor girl had a horse that would kick every horse that was behind it, and bite every horse in front of it. Unfortunately, I had the horse in front of it. Twila handled it well, thank God. That is until she saw the balloon. God forbid the scary leftover Fourth of July balloon be anywhere within 50 feet. She decided to take an off-roading detour. All is well, we got back on track and finished our tour. Micah and I were separated the whole tour, his horse liked to take its time while mine was up the guides horses butt. Regardless, we both had a good time and it was by far the most thoughtful date I've ever been on. Thank you Micah :) Anyways, here are some more pictures from the day. Enjoy!

We also went to another state park and walked on a suspended swinging bridge. We didn't stay there long though, I was pooped at that point.

Thats about all I have for now, I have to go to church with Micah soon. Have a wonderful day!

Happy Thursday :)

I know this flower didn't pop out of the ground over night. However, somehow I just noticed it this morning when I went to go out for a run. It is literally right next to our driveway, yet it has gone unnoticed for quite some time. Weird.

I need to find a new template, my blog is just way too boring looking now. I changed it for sister though, now she can comment however much her little heart desires.

Anyways, 22 days till Texas. I'm excited, but at the same time scared of what the future holds. I guess bitter-sweet sums it up.

I guess thats enough pointless rambling for now, Happy Thursday :)

A Walk in a Park

I have to make this a short post, I have work in an hour. Sorry I haven't updated, I've been working 8 hour shifts this whole weekend. Gotta get those last few hours since I put my two weeks in on Saturday.

On Friday Micah, Emmy, and I went for a hike through Susquehanna State Park. It was such a beautiful day, and the park speaks for itself in the pictures. To make them clearer or larger just click on the image :) Enjoy!

July 10th, 2009

To be completely honest I'm scared to death of these little creatures. I'm not allergic as far as I know, but when one comes buzzing by my ear I seem to run in exact opposite direction. Chances are its way more scared of me than I am of it. I'll keep my distance from these little furry insects for the time being.

The Countdown: One Month

Where to start. A self introduction and auto biography seems a bit overboard. If you are reading this I probably gave you the link because I like you being a part of my life, and don't want that to end now only because i'm moving away. I mainly started this blog so anyone who is interested can see what i'm up to while i'm away. It's something that I can look back on, too. If it bores you, simply type in the next URL and don't come back. Simple as that. You won't hurt my feelings, I promise.

I'm pretty into photography as well, so expect those to be included :) Even if they are completely random and have nothing to do with what i'm talking about. Like these sunglasses just sitting in grass. Isn't it weird how the most ordinary things can be so beautiful?

Now to the real point of this blog...

The countdown has started, one month till I head off to college. I've been awaiting this freedom since high school started, and now that it's over I'm actually not looking forward to leaving. I have great things going for me now. I have a decent job, great friends, and an amazing boyfriend. Yet, here I am about to pick up and leave all of those things behind. I guess everyone goes through this at some point in their life.

My reality wake up call began this morning at 5:30 a.m. when my dear father of mine woke me up to do chores (which I must admit, I will not be missing at all). He started to begin his usual college speech talking about my Army ROTC scholarship, but continued by telling me how broke I am going to be for about a month and a half in the beginning of my first semester. I knew I was going to be broke, but yet it just hit me now. The money that I have been spending oh so diligently lately is going to be my food money which I will soon be lacking. A job in the food industry sounds pretty good right about now...
